The forecast this Saturday is looking great for a 3 mile hike along the lower Allegheny to scout for blooming maple trees. Fallingwater arborist Ann Talarek will share her knowledge of maple tree ID. Our goal will be to add maple (Acer spp.) entries to iNaturalist. We’ll finish the hike at CoNectar with a tasting of 100% Allegheny County maple syrups and pair with organic pancakes.
