November 1 is traditionally a sacred day marking mid-autumn, a time when the days are rapidly shortening and the honey bees are bedding down for winter. We’ll gather together to taste fruits of the past growing season and incorporate some of those flavors into fire cider batches as a takeaway. At this gathering, we will have a nature sensory reflection of mid-autumn, marked by The Wheel of the Bee Year gallery show and honey tasting. We'll plan on making a takeaway batch of fire cider and we will coordinate with attendees the best items to bring so the costs are shared between us all and minimized.
